How soon after deep plane neck lift/cheek lift can I safely undergo lip lift surgery?

I am interested in getting a neck and cheek lift (deep plane) with one surgeon, and afterwards, a lip lift / V to Y advancement with another surgeon whose specialty is this type of lip procedure. How many months would I need between the face procedures and the lip lift? Thank you!

To answer your question, best to address timing of "when" with your facelift Surgeon; 2 weeks should generally be sufficient.  However, I am not sure why your original Surgeon can't perform the lip lift unless he/she is uncomfortable with this procedure.

Hello, hope you are well. I, and many other surgeons, routinely perform deep-plane facelifts and lip lifts concurrently. So the simple answer to your question is you don't really need to wait at all. In a theoretical world, you could have Surgeon X do your facelift and then Surgeon Y step into the room and perform the lip lift and you would be fine. I think maybe what you're wondering about is how much recovery time you want between procedures--that's a personal decision, and not based on the safety or ability to execute the procedures properly. Those nuances are best discussed with your surgeons, and depends on your lifestyle, expectations for recovery, logistics of postop care, and so on.
