Left implant shifted after 5 years post op, 500 ccs

Implants can do all sorts of things over time for various reasons. In your case, the size of your implants relative to your chest wall puts you at risk for issues like displacement. The one that didn't shift laterally (a common direction to move) looks contracted, which may be why its position has been preserved. You'll need to be seen by your doctor or a revision breast expert to have a revision surgery.

Thank you for your question. Implants that are under the muscle tend to get pushed down in and out ( lateral ). This is due to the location and shape of the pec muscle. The options to fix this or to either move the implants in front of the muscle, and or to tighten the lateral capsule so the implant doesn’t have room to fall that way While also considering adding a piece of mesh to further support the implant.
