Otoplasty targets the outer ear and does not modify the inner ear structure. For this reason, it is highly unlikely that your ear infections would be associated with your surgery. Please see an ENT (Otolaryngologist) for an assessment to determine the cause of your recurring ear infections.

The disease process is generally caused by eustachian tube dysfunction, not the shape of your external ear. The most appropriate specialist to see for management would be an ENT.
