Bruising over 1 year after otoplasty - what could have caused this? (photo)

I had otoplasty approximately 16 months ago, and today I discovered that 2 little bruises appeared on my antihelix. What could've caused this. Could a stitch have snapped? I can't see my surgeon as I moved to a different city.

Since these red spots appeared on your ear, 1.5 years after Otoplasty surgery, it could just be a permanent suture that has come to the surface. This should be an easy fix, in the office. It would be difficult to determine the cause of your bruising without an examination. I recommend you see your primary care physician.

bruising could have various causes, such as minor trauma or blood vessel issues. A thorough physical consultation could confirm the cause.
