It would be a good idea to return to your surgeon to discuss your concerns. Corrective surgery can be performed to achieve a more satisfying result.

Based on your photos, both of your ears appear to stick out too far. Generally, Otoplasty surgery aims to reposition somebody’s ears closer to their head so their ears are less outstanding and less distracting. Hello, hope you are well. I agree that your ears appear asymmetric, and worse on the right side as compared to the left. (The left side also appears somewhat prominent, but I generally take measurements to judge the severity of the prominauris and devise a plan for correction). This would be a straightforward revision otoplasty that can be performed under local anesthesia as an office procedure.

You need a repeat otoplasty. Depending on how much scar tissue is encountered, it may be straight forward or it may be more complex. 2 things are done during the otoplasty: the concha bowl prominence is reduced and the antihelical fold is changed to produce less prominence.
