Hello, I have longed for curvier shape! I'm very apple-shaped, all the weight I gain goes to my midsection and breasts. I am ready to do a fat transfer into my buttocks and hips. Currently, I'm 200 lbs at 5'3". What weight range would be best to transition into my wish pic? Is my wish pic achievable?
Answer: Tummy tuck / Lipo Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you a Tummy Tuck to get a flat abdomen and waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL). Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Do I make a good candidate for BBL and is my wish pic achievable? Hello, thank you for your question. It is best to be within 10 pounds of your weight goal for three months prior to the BBL. A BMI of 35 (yours is 35.4) is probably the upper limit that a plastic surgeon would consider for this procedure. In my practice I look for a BMI approximating 30 to lessen the risks of complications during and after surgery and to enhance the results of the procedures. It appear that you would benefit from a Lipo/BBL and TT. I perform the lipo/TT and BBL in combination for many of my patients. However, if they prefer staging the procedures I always recommend the lipo and BBL first, followed by the TT three to six months later so that the result will be as tight as possible. I recommend you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: My recommendation Hello dear! Thanks for the pictures and provided information as well. Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for 360 liposuction and a full tummy tuck, to give you a nice tight tummy and get rid of the extra skin. Along with the tummy tuck, liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You improve your waist, back and flanks. It is important that you communicate to your board-certified plastic surgeon what are expecting, to make certain that your goals are realistic. It's helpful to show pictures of results you'd like, but please keep in mind that these are other people and your body is different from everybody. Your wish pics are not achievable, you both have totally different type of bodies. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, hemoglobine levels above 13 be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 31 or less. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Good luck :)Dr. Luis Mejia.

Answer: BBL and TT candidate Dear tambreck, Generally speaking, you want to reach your goal weight before you consider a surgery, otherwise your results will be suboptimal if you continue to lose weight after the surgery. Based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL and TT. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
