How long until after getting a BBL can you get a tattoo?

Question

If you get a tattoo about a few months before your BBL date will that affect your surgery? Or how long until after your surgery do you have to heal before you can you get a tattoo?

Hello, thank you for the question.
If you get a tattoo months before surgery and it heals perfectly, it wont affect the surgery. And after surgery you need to wait at least 8 months after surgery, just in case any thing happens. Remember, always safety first!!!

Hello, thank you for your question. I would ask your board certified plastic surgeon as he or she will be able to give the best advice based upon healing. Most PSs would probably recommend waiting at least 6 months.

Just to be on the safe side I would suggest to avoid tattoo in fat grafted and liposuction areas at least for 3 months or longer until normal sensation returns to these areas. Good luck.

At six weeks patients typically see results that are about 75% final. At that point it’s also going to be highly unlikely that any physical manipulation changes the outcome.
A couple of months should be just fine.
