Can areolas always look smaller for e.g. when it's cold and your areola gets smaller and breasts appear to be tighter? (Photo)

I had tuberous breasts and at the young age of 14 had a mastopexy. I am now 42 years old and had an aerola reduction one year ago. Not what I expected. When I am cold they go to the smaller size and actually look ok but if not they look puffy in particular the left breast which has the bad scarring. Unsure whether to get a breast augmentation for a fuller shape but dont want to end up with larger areolas and even more stretched scars. Unhappy and not comfortable in my own skin and unsure what to do next.
