Type 1 diabetic, surgery postponed. Will I still be able to get it done?

Hi, I have paid for my Breast Augmentation & was due to go into surgery next week. However, they rang me today to say they have had to cancel surgery due to me having Type 1 Diabetes & that the current situation & Covid 19 would mean I’m more at risk. My sugar levels are stable & I’m otherwise healthy but they are insisting to wait till it’s safer. I’ve wanted this for over 15 years, will I still be able to get it done?

I would suggest discussing this with your surgeon. Adding volume does not lift the breasts. The sooner you reduce your implants, the less stretch on your tissue remains.

Thank you for your question.  Looking at your photos I would agree that you have tuberous breast.  I would recommend a breast lift and possibly a small reduction.  This will allow your surgeon of choice to give you better shape and proper breast position.  I would recommend seeing a Boa...
