Answer: GOOD CANDIDATE FOR VASER LIPOSUCTION WITH FAT TRANSFER TO THE BUTTOCKS (BBL). Hello sweet.juju, It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! You seem to be a good candidate for VASER Liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks (Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), based on your pictures and description. It is possible to create a new or more defined gluteal by adding volume to the buttocks through a BBL procedure. Many of my patients who desire a fuller, beautifully rounded backside, with great projection, opt for BBL. Your current Body Mass Index estimate of 26.3 is between the ideal range for a safe and successful BBL surgery. Request an in-person consultation with an experienced plastic surgeon to assess your candidacy for BBL based on your age, skin laxity, body shape and health status, among other factors. During the initial consultation, he/she can help you decide if adding volume to your rear will be proportionately appropriate for your appearance and how much fat volume should be grafted. Moreover, you will most likely have the opportunity to take a look at your surgeon’s before-and-after photo gallery of similar cases, and discuss your specific needs and cosmetic goals. Best regards! Dr. De La Cruz.

Answer: Can a gluteal fold (butt crease) be created from a BBL? When a BBL is done properly, it lift the buttocks up actually taking the gluteal fold away. If you look at really youthful natural buttocks in people who are at their ideal body weight, you will see that there is not a gluteal fold. As we get older and start to lose elasticity in our skin and gain weight etc., the fold starts to form. You might find that you will like the result because it seems from your photos above that you just want demarcation between your buttocks and posterior thigh and not necessarily a fold or crease.
