I am 3 weeks post op and the inside of my nose hurts at sometimes. Is this normal and what causes it?

Hello Sharait, After this time, your appearance is more or less definite and is unlikely to change any more. Corrections could be done for breathing problems or cosmetic concerns. If you don't like the look, cartilage grafts could be used to improve the appearance.

Your goals can be achieved with a graft to the bottom of your septum , Septal extension graft, as well as alar rim grafts. See a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who can show you photos of patients he has done this on. Do not rely on imaging.

If you can wee the cortex at the end of the nasal tip, there Is a high likelihood that you have a pending extrusion of the gortex. See your local board certified plastic surgeon who will not only arrange to have it removed, but also arrange to have a reconstruction using your own tissue.
