Hi, I had an FUE hair transplant 10 days ago. I go on holiday in 9 days time and I'm looking for a good hair concealer/fibre to cover the bald patches of hair. I'm also looking for some advice regarding if it would damage my grafts? At the moment I am feeling very self conscious as before the transplant my hair was still long and the doctor recommend shaving the lot of for better results. I return to work in 19 days time so really looking for something that will make the scalp look less bald.

Answer: It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.
In some cases the transplanted hair may grow out with a different texture. This may be a technical problem during surgery or an inherent patient related problem. In general it will improve over time.
If are having vomiting and high blood pressure it would be best to contact your doctor. It would not affect the hair but it would affect your health in general.
Occasional cigars or cigarettes do not cause hair loss. If you are concerned it is best to consult with your doctor. Smoking in general is not good for you and is not good for wound healing.
