I've been considering full body cryotherapy (each session is around 3mins) even before my HT FUE procedure - there are various reported health benefits from this, one of which was enhanced blood flow and recovery. Question is - are there any concerns about doing this? In theory, this should help in regrowth. Secondly, how long post-op can could I start doing this?
Answer: If your don't get the results you expect or have issues, you can't blame the Internet if your surgeon wasn't included in the loo It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. Answer: Cryotherapy The term 'cryotherapy' literally means using cold for treatment and there are very different ways of doing this.Liquid nitrogen is often used by dermatologists to freeze some skin cancers and benign skin lesions.Ice baths are used by athletes to boost muscle recovery and the general health benefits of jumping into cold lakes has been promoted by Scandinavians for decades.Scalp cooling caps are used to try and prevent hair loss during chemotherapy. There are also advocates for localised scalp cooling to treat genetic hair loss but thus far there is no evidence for benefit.Full body cryotherapy is highly unlikely to make any difference to a hair transplant if used before the procedure. The time frame for treatment like this after a hair transplant should be decided by your hair transplant surgeon.

Answer: Cryotherapy There's nothing out there that I'm aware of which looks into how this would affect your transplant but I highly doubt it would cause any harm. I'd wait a few days before doing it, just in case.
