What is the best way to fix a seroma and possibly a pseudobursa above the belly button? (Photo)

If you have a true hernia above your belly button you will likely want to have it fixed. Hernia, especially small hernias, can be a source of trouble with incarceration and even strangulation of bowel - a true surgical emergency. As for the seroma, after this long it may very well be a pseudobursa but the only way to know is to aspirate it, put you in compression and see if it resolves. A small seroma which isn't infected isn't the end of the world but it would like be addressed if you need a hernia repair in the same vicinity. Good luck.
