Especially Cephalosporins (antibiotics) are known to have this side effect. Technically it can also be a substance administered during surgery as an anesthetic, but this is not so likely. I would obviously work with your neurologist. But I would not be terribly worried. My own opinion would be to get it done all in one surgery, so you're not going through two anesthesias. I don't think separating them adds anything.Good luck!
