Thanks for your question. A pollybeak deformity comes either from scar tissue under the skin envelope or from overdevelopment of the cartilaginous septum in this area. Revision techniques depend on the cause of the supra tip fullness. As you know, it takes time for the skin to adhere to the underlying framework following rhinoplasty. The tip region has the thickest skin so it takes longer here for underlying changes to show up than elsewhere in the nose. If there's any question, please visit with your surgeon, but I think you simply need to give it time. Good luck.

There is going to be swelling for several months in the supra tip and tip lobule complex after a revision rhinoplasty done with an open technique.  You mentioned that you have thick skin which will further limit your ability to evaluate the result in the first several weeks to months after surgery.  It is certainly frustrating for you to need another further so I hope you were careful in your choice and have developed a strong relationship with the surgeon who performed the revision.
