9 months after 5000 grafts FUE transplant

Question

Hi' Im 9 month after 5000 grafts transplant and I have good growth so far (slow growth , but it is OK) . The density bit disappointing. How much is the growth percent rate after 9 months? What should I expect in the following months? When I can think of a second round? Thanks

Thank you for your question, alon30. Please provide a picture alongside your description. You should experience continued growth in the next three months and potentially after that as well. Please follow-up with us in three months and six months to monitor your progress. If you are not happy at that point, then I suggest you consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon with plenty of experience in NeoGraft FUE. Best wishes,

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.  Some patient continue to grow new hair after 12 months.

Growth rate varied from person to person.  That sounds like a very large grafting session.  I tell patients that at 6 months usually at least 50 percent of hairs are growing but this simply isn't always the case.  It may take over a year.  You wouldn't want to graft again for at least a year following the prior procedure.

You should have over 80% of teh graft growth by now. I am assuming that you did this in Turkey as that is one of the few places that do such numbers so look carefully at the quality of the hair growing out. Reports are coming out of Turkey from some clinics that the hair grown in these large sessions is substandard.
