Can you sleep on donor area after FUE? (photos)

Question

So yesterday I had my FUE done and today they have taken off the bandage. They they told me to sleep in a semi-sitting position but I forgot to ask them if I could put a towel on my cushion and sleep on my donor area. Thanks a lot!

You need to sleep.  You can safely sleep on your donor area.  If you believe this is not the case, contact your doctor.

Sleeping on your donor area is fine, it is the recipient area that is more delicate following the transplant due to the new grafts being sensitive. Laying on the donor area will not really impact the its recovery.

You can sleep over your FUE donor area. Maybe there will be some bleeding (normal), so put a clean soft towel covering your pillow.

The donor area, is fine in just a couple of days if there is no bleeding there. I generally tell patients to put a colored towel on the pillow if there is any bleeding but sleeping on the donor area is not a problem after a couple of days.
