Torn stitches after constipation, if I did what can I do?

Thanks for writing,It sound as thought you may hard torn a muscle suture, but as Dr. Morgan has said, it may be swelling. Please let your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon know about this. He / she can examine you and let you know exactly what has happened. I would also let them know you are constipated, there are things they can do for that. Good LuckStephen M. Assuming you had a tummy tuck and assuming you tore your abdominal muscle stitches there is not much you can do at this point. Continue to wear an abdominal binder and see your surgeon.  Avoid constipation by limiting the use of narcotic pain medications and adjust your diet to include fiber and plenty of water.
