Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best,Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
There are different treatments you can benefit from. One of them been Laser resurfacing treatments, microneedling or PDO threads. The best thing to do is schedule a consultation since all offices have different price points.Good luck!
Options to consider would be Intense Pulsed Light therapy which is relatively inexpensive and can help with small uneven blood vessels and pigmentation changes. Radiofrequency microneedling treatments would help improve skin fullness and decrease fine wrinkling by increasing collagen production, etc. Injections of filler material like Sculptra may help but it is a large area and would be more painful and possible uneven depending on the injection pattern.
Treatment options to consider would be a series of IPL treatments and dilute Radiesse or Sculptra injections to thicken the skin and help with some of the vertical lines. Sun protection going forward is very important. Please see a dermatologist for an in-person evaluation.Best,Dr. Ort
We see this all the time in South Florida. Years of sun exposure causes brown and red pigmentation at the décolleté area (upper chest). This can be treated effectively with Sciton HERO BBL (their newest IPL device), with results in as little as one or two treatments. There is minimal "downtime" other than having what (ironically) looks like a sunburn on your chest for a week or two. The rough texture to the skin can be treated with a different laser, either fractional or full-field Erbium resurfacing. I would recommend waiting until after the IPL before trying resurfacing -- you may see an improvement in texture from the IPL alone. Hope this helps!
Hi, this is a common issue, especially when summer starts. We need to build more collagen and restore elasticity. For this I would do Morpheus8 Microneedling with Radiofrequency (3 treatments) covered with CO2 CoolPeel laser for resurfacing. Next, I would start a series of hyperdilute Radiesse - 2 sessions one month apart. Give this few weeks to notice the difference, best results at 90 days.
