Will Gemini laser help red marks after Radiesse? (Photo)

It's been 3 months since this nightmare began. I had my face done with Radiesse and am having persistent swelling and redness under my eyes after very bad bruising. I completed trusted my PS - bad move. The Dr has started to try Gemini laser but they are not leaving. Will these lasers help? What is happening? I'm finding it hard to trust him now and feel like he's brushing me off. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

It looks like they injected hyper dilute Radiesse in the tear trough area. Unfortunately, when Radiesse is injected in this area, gravity will pull the calcium particles down and they collect in the lower part of the compartment and gets concentrated along the ligament. The Radiesse is irritating the skin causing the redness. This is usually a good thing as it causes collagen production but because it is so superficial, it is very visible.  I would not recommend using a laser to correct this right now as it will cause more irritation. It should eventually resolve on its own, but there is a technique where saline can be injected from underneath the ligament with a blunt tipped micro cannula to dilute the Radiesse and allow it to dissipate through the perforations made with the cannula. If your doctor does not have experience doing this you should find someone who does. Please feel free to contact me if you would like some further advice on this.

Hi there,

I am not sure how this happened.. Radiesse should never be used in the tear trough.  It seems your lymphatic system isn't fully draining.   
Radio frequency should help ; multiple treatments and then a vascular laser for the redness.
See an expert injector... only Board Certified Dermatologist ; Plastic surgeon  or Ocular plastic only for injections.
