How long after Vaser liposuction can I fly?

I would recommend that you discuss this question with your surgeon as every surgeon has their own respective post op protocol for his/her patients.  Your surgeon is your best resource as he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you will be healing following surgery.For my out of town patients, I recommend that they do not fly for up to 14 days depending on the extent of the surgery.

The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.

Thanks for the question. You should be able to flying by 2-3 weeks after your surgery. If any unexpected incident happens in your treatment process, this time can be extended or shortened. I wish you all the best.

hello imperfect83  A short period of rest of 12-24 hours is usually recommended immediately after the procedure. Activity is largely dependent upon how you, the patient feels. Like traditional liposuction, there are no large incisions or treatment of underlying tissues such as muscle that need healing.  Recovery is mostly base on the level of soreness or bruising that you may experience, however, most activity is unlikely to delay healing or create problems with recovery. #recovery #flying

Every practice has a different post operative protocol. 
In my practice for example most of my patients have drains which are removed a week following the procedure therefore, I suggest they can fly only after those are removed. 
There is also the unknown aspect of how sore you would feel after the procedure. Every patient is different and on average the first couple of days are the roughest ones. Nonetheless, you should be careful. 
Contact your surgeon and discuss what's best to do.
