Has this incision reopened or become infected? (photos)

Question

Have noticed an incision area being a little bothersome lately but seems worse today and doesn't seem to have healed like the rest. Sutures removed 2 days ago. Stings when I sit on it a certain way so have to compromise the way I move.

Hi, it is still too early for incisions to be healed. The scars may be red or raised for the first
few months, but after 6–12 months they will soften, lighten, and become less
noticeable. It is best to continue prescribed aftercare, rest well and treat your incisions well. Do not hesitate to contact your surgeon if you have concern with your healing process. Best of luck! #RealSelf100

Hi There,

This incision does not appear to be infected. Some areas heal quicker than others, this is normal. Avoid submerging it in water, such as hot tubs, pools, or baths until it completely closes. In the mean time, a thin layer of antibacterial ointment is all I suggest.

This incision is slowly healing and will need more time.Keep it covered with a bandaid and some antibiotic ointment.
