One is higher and so is the eyebrow. I tend to get headaches on the side where the eye is higher and the eye bulges and is quite painful during these headaches. Initially I just thought I had asymmetrical eyes but seeing one is quite painful I think it might be something else. Any help is appreciated.

In order to be able to close your eyelids, you have to have skin redundancy in your upper eyelids with your eyes open.
Have someone take a picture of your upper eyelids with your eyes closed and you’ll see that they’re probably isn’t very much skin redundancy.

Based on your photo, I suspect that that the lump of fat below your right eye may be superficial. If it is superficial, a direct excision with a scar on the lower eyelids skin should heal well. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
