I had my doubts about the gummy bear implants but my doc insisted I get them and that they would be for my body. I had read horrible things about them so I wasn't so sure. But against my own gut I went forward with the gummy bear implants. I am 5 days post op and they are not what I want at all. They are smaller than I expected. I have been reading and It says that if I want cleavage, I will have to always wear a push up bra. If I have augmented breasts, I don't want to have to wear a bra.
Answer: Changing implants It Is important at this point to be patient and allow all swelling to resolve and the implants will settle in the next 2-3 months. If you still want implant exchange at that point then you can pursue a different size and implant type.

Answer: Changing Breast Implants One Week Following Breast Augmentation While it is possible to change "gummy bear" to "regular" silicone implants, there are several important points that you need to consider.1. 5 days post-op is too soon to determine your final post-operative appearance.2. Post-operative breast appearance is based upon implant size and style, where the implant is placed within the breast and pre-operative breast anatomy.3. In general, "gummy bear" implants can provide more lower pole projection than "regular" silicone implants, without creating as much upper pole fullness, however "gummy bear" implants do come in different heights and projections, as well as widths. "Regular" silicone implants, particularly higher profile implants, can create more upper pole fullness / roundness to the breasts.4. Cleavage is determined by pre-operative breast appearance, implant selection and implant location. How close implants placed beneath the pectoralis muscle can get to each other is determined by where the pectoralis muscle attaches to the breast bone. Implants with greater projection tend to form "deeper" cleavage, not closer cleavage. Assuming the implants are the correct width for your chest wall, the only way to make the breasts appear closer together would be to push them closer with a bra.5. Attempts to position breast implants too close together on top of the muscle creates the risk of symmastia. Before undergoing a revision, be sure to discuss exactly what you do not like about your present breast appearance with you plastic surgeon and confirm that changing your implants will result in the outcome you desire.Best wishes.

Answer: 1 week post op, some advices: Thanks for the question. Its too early to talk about results. In my practice, after performing a BA I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling.Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol.-

Answer: Implants First, getting implants does not avoid the need to use a bra. Also, cleavage is in any ways determined by your overall anatomy. As far as changing them to softer silicone, that is a choice only you can make.
