Does gaining weight cause bigger under eye bags?

I’ve gained a little weight in my face and stomach but no where else and have noticed my eye bags have gotten huge. Does this have any correlation? Will exercising reduce them at all?

There are many things you can do to treat under eye bags, but a combination approach with nonsurgical treatments would give the most improvement: fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella), lasers (Fraxel/CO2), Renuvion (J-Plasma), microneedling/PRP, Cosmelan peels and stem cells. A surgical option...

Can ectropion be revised easily after lower blepharoplasty?

It all depends on severity of the ectropion, if it is mild it usually is resolved by massage and time. sever cases will need surgery.

Considering that you have history of dry eyes I would suggest to wait at least 6-8 weeks after upper blepharoplasty. Delay it as long as your dry eye discomfort is present. Good luck.

These gels are ineffective. I would recommend continues use of artificial tears and bedtime ointment for any residual dry eye. If your eyes are bothering you, see your general ophthalmologist for a second opinion regarding management options.
