I had upper and lower Blepharoplasty done and I have some ectropion which has not resolved at 7 weeks. Will this resolve on its own given time or will a simple revision correct it easily?
Answer: Ectropion I'm sorry to hear that this has happened. In most cases, ectropion improves by 3 months if it is mild. Consider seeing an oculoplastic surgeon for a consultation. Best of luck!

Answer: Ectropion after eyelid surgery I would recommend upward massage and more time prior to consideration of additional surgery. Depending upon the degree and type of ectropion it may still resolve. If not, there are a number of procedures that can tighten the lower lid, elevating it and approximating it to the eyeball.
