Latisse does not solve the underlying issue in TTM and generally speaking insurance companies want to support treatments that directly address the underlying issue. However, in combination with counseling, or pharmacotherapy, Latisse can still be a good option to try to promote hair growth. By itself, it is not effective and only serves to draw more attention to the lashes (or area affected).
