I cut my eyelashes an year ago and the left eyelashes are longer than the right. Will the regrow?

Eyelashes, like all hair, have a growth cycle.  If you simply cut your lashes, that will not affect the growth cycle.  Latisse could extend the growth cycle allowing for longer thicker lashes.

Many treatments could help but the fundamental reason this occured should be explored in greater detail with a physician. Cutting the lashes is not the reason for growth differences one year out. Ideally a formal consultation could prove helpful.

Simply cutting the lashes, without damaging the follicle, should not affect the length of future lashes in subsequent growth cycles.  I would think in one year's time, you would no longer see the effects of having cut your lashes.  Nevertheless, Latisse does improve lash length and thickness, though I would recommend it be applied to lashes on both the right and left.  Thus, I'm not sure it would solve your problem of having shorter lashes on the right, though I think if the growth is abundant enough it should overcome any previous discrepancy in lash length between the left and right sides.   Good luck!

Latisse is a great product for you to use to regrow and extend the hair follicle growth cycle. Latisse is FDA approved and it works as long you use it continuously for the first 6 weeks. Latisse can only be used at nights. If Latisse does not work after trying it consistently, I would recommend seeing your nearest Dermatologist for a consultation.

Hi! If you cut the eyelashes then the hair follicle should still be in tact which means Latisse would be an effective option for regrowth of the lashes. Latisse will improve lash length, darkness, and fullness. You can use Latisse on the eye with short lashes until their length matches the other eye. Hope this information was helpful!

If you only cut them and didn't pull them or damage the root, they should grow back without problems. Latisse could help them grow back faster or help the one side catch up with the other. Good luck!
