Preservation rhinoplasty made my nose wider - could a reversal be achieved to deproject and refine the tip? (Photos)
I underwent a preservation rhinoplasty 4 years ago. The initial goal was to refine my nose from the front while preserving its original shape and character (no modification of the tip, no excessive refinement). My surgeon used the push-down technique to address the hump, but also took the liberty of altering the tip by inserting a graft and increasing its projection. As a result, my nose appears much thicker, the tip looks unattractive and bulbous, and my columella feels tight. He also performed an alar base reduction. Given the technique that was used, would it be possible to consider a relatively straightforward ‘reversal’ with deprojection and refinement of the tip? Does that seem realistic? I am attaching photos so that you can better assess my case
