Hi! I’m a trans woman considering a BBL to help with hip dips and get a more hourglass shape. I just want to make sure I have the right foundation for it before going through surgery. I know results depend a lot on your frame and fat distribution, so I’m trying to be realistic. Do I look like a good candidate for noticeable results? Thanks in advance for any honest feedback!

Answer: Body feminizing with fat transfer The production with fat transfer a.k.a. BBL is the correct procedure. It’s very important to select the right provider. To get a good S curve that should be grafted along the side of your thigh through the hip. This is best done with the patient laying on their side, which is not usually done, especially with general anesthesia. Define the right provider, you need to ask the surgeons to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patient who had similar body characteristics. Bring pictures of yourself to use as reference. Provider selection is by far the most important variable and is the single determinant if you’re going to get a quality result or not. Result very dramatically, depending on who you go to.I recommend having multiple in person consultations to find the best provider for your needs. Don’t cut corners when it comes to provider selection. To find the right surgeon I recommend you meet with them in person and avoid virtual consultations. You may need more than five consultations to find someone who has sufficient skill and experience. Some providers have a very distorted view on what the female figure should look like.
