I am almost 6 weeks out from A breast lift and 260cc implant. Swelling has completely gone down but the implants have not dropped. In fact. They feel like they are rising. I feel like I can't breath. I have lost 10 pounds because I feel like something is stepping on my chest. Is this normal?

Answer: Breast implants feel heavy on chest HI Abigail, It is too early to say if your beast implants have reached their final position just yet. In some cases, it may take more than 6 months and up to a year for implants to attain their final position. I would recommend that you see your plastic surgeon to see what is going on.Best Wishes,Dr. Christine Rodgers

Answer: Implants Feel Heavy on Chest Thanks for your question! It's is certainly little unusual to lose weight because of breast implants, esp with relatively small 260cc implants. The "heavy" feeling however is fairly common. It could take up to 6 months for you to feel like they "are a part of you", but voice these concerns to your plastic surgeon. Best of luck to you!
