Breast reconstruction with tissue expanders followed by implant placement is a very different process than a breast augmentation. In breast augmentation we discuss the implants dropping and fluffing later on but in reconstruction with tissue expanders that process does not really happen, if it does, it happens to a much smaller affect.Since the pocket has already been made by the tissue expanders, there really is no more stretching that will happen with the implants. Now if the scar tissue (capsule) is incised during the exchange and a larger implant is placed, there may be some stretching that will ensue, but again not like when breast augmentation surgery is done.Hope that helps.

And yours appear to be doing that... but you have a bottom heavy appearance. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon as there are fixes that can shorten the bottom pole from a plication in the office to returning to the OR to elevate your fold slightly.
