Managed to post photo (I hope). It's one day after co2 fractional laser, complete face and eyes. Still swollen, but am concerned about hound dog look. Same plastic surgeon performed laser as did prior lower lid lift 4 years earlier. Is this common?

Answer: Ectropion lower eyelid post co2 laser? Hello Geppert,Having had a previous lower eyelid surgery and then undergoing a laser resurfacing over the lower eyelid does increase the risk of having an ectropion. However, at one dayafter your laser you are seeing a lot of swelling. This can give the false appearance of an ectropion because of the excess weight from the swelling. I'd recommend you let your surgeon know about your concerns, but as the swelling improves, so should the appearance of your lower eyelid. Whether you end up with an ectropion or not will depend on how things looked prior to treatment, the laxity of your lower eyelid, and what settings were used on the laser. I hope this helps and good luck.
