PIH 3-4 weeks after resurfacing is typical.  I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over appropriate after care. Sun protection is essential. Clear + brilliant, peels, microneedling/prp, skin lightening can give improvement. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Hello Heyla19,When it comes to hyperpigmentation after any form of resurfacing this is best managed by a physician near you.  Hopefully your laser treatment was performed by a core aesthetic physician (facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon, or dermatologist).  If not, I'd recommend you find one of these to continue your treatment.  The reason is there are various treatments out there that can be done to improve your hyperpigmentation.  This includes skin lighteners like hydroquinone, arbutase, kojiac acid, etc.  It could be the lighting, but your photo looks to show you very pink/red still.  At 26 days that degree of color is worrisome, and also needs to be addressed.  For the redness you have there are topical steroids and oral steroids that may be needed.  I hope this helps and good luck.
