Why do you get better results in BBL & TT when you go out of the country?

Hi CurvesHereIcome,Thanks for your question. I think some surgeons just like different looks. Most patients pick their plastic surgeons based on the results that they show on their websites. Some patients are looking for a particular look usually settle for a particular doctor. I think you could find a doctor that does curvier, bigger butts. It just depends on where you want to travel in the US or abroad. The other issue is safety. According to board of plastic surgery, we as plastic surgeons have to follow an ethical code and do what is best for the patient. That is not to say that all surgeons follow or do this but I believe most want what is best for their patients and want them happy. The safe limit of liposuction is 5 liters and it some states it is less. If more fat and fluid is removed, it is recommended to have an overnight stay. Again issues that some follow.I recommend being examined by your board certified surgeon. Good Luck.

The results are different among different surgeons because many factors are involved, the surgeon's perspective and goal may be one of the reasons. Surgeons from Latin countries are more focus in curvier bodies. Also patients are different in different countries. Latin patients request usually a curvier body contour. Then the patient's body frame are also a little different and then you may see more curvier bodies in Latin America than in other countries.

Hello and thank you for your question. I would strongly recommend that you do more research before considering going out of the country to have either of these surgeries. Many patients have come into my office unhappy and seeking revision surgery after having surgery out of the country. Reasons including lower costs and promises of amazing results attract these people to leaving the country for surgery, but there are a few things to consider. First, techniques and equipment used will be the same or better in the United States. The best results that you can achieve SAFELY is very possible in the United States with an experienced board certified surgeon. Next, the level of qualifications will vary out of the country, increasing your risk of infection or poor results. If you are thinking about traveling so far for good results, look within the United States where you can be confident that a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon is exceedingly competent and will do their best to help you achieve your goals. Unfortunately, you have to watch about procedures done overseas as there is not as much liability and thus experimental procedures are more likely to occur; if you see a result that looks to good to be true, you have to worry about artificial fillers that may be injected along with your fat.

There are very good PS in the US, Mexico and other latin american countries.My guess is the very good PS in Mexico do more surgeries than their US counter parts mainly because of the lower cost.The country of origin of a PS does not qualify him as a good PS.
