What amount of CCS will give me a full C small D cup size? Natural look. (photos)

Question

I'm 5'2" weight 118lbs 23yrs have 2kids and my starting breast size is 32A I'm looking to get to a full C small D. My doctor and I had agreed to 450, but I feel like that will get me to a double D and I don't want to go that big. My doctor also pointed out that my right breath is a bit bigger. And that the bottom part of my breast aren't filled. As you can see on the bottom left picture. Thank in advance :) looking forward to hear from the experts.

Hello boobies_underconstruction. In order to tell you exactly what you need, I would have to examine you and do measurements. This would only be a guess online. The 450 cc seems like a reasonable option for a D cup, but some of my patients can fit a DD with this size. Bras and their fit are imperfect so I do not recommend basing your breast implant size on a particular bra cup. Instead, see how that volume looks on your body by using volume sizers. Other tips for finding the best size include:1) Guiding patients to explore reasonable options for breast implant size, usually two to three similar sizes, which allows the patient to visualize how different volumes affect their breast cup. 2) The best guide for a final breast implant size recommendation is derived using measurements from the patient’s own breasts and chest. 3) When measurements are considered then options for sizes can be presented. 4) I use the Mentor Volume Sizing System of breast sizers to demonstrate how these different volumes will look on a patient’s body. 5) This methods offers good reliability and is simple to use, but is not perfect.Your PS is the best resource for any additional recommendations. There are several factors that plastic 
surgeons consider when recommending implant sizes. I consider two 
factors when selecting implants for my patients:1. Dimensional planning2. Gel Implant Sizing systemDimensional
 planning – The measurements of your chest wall are taken. Also, the 
breast dimensions including the height, width, and current dimensions of
 each breast form the basis of dimensional planning. Based on these 
measurements, the implant size is recommended. This will give you a 
unique breast implant that is suited for your body frame. However, there
 are some limitations of what size we can recommend. For instance, some 
implants may just be too big for a narrow chest wall. Your surgeon can 
review this with you during the consultation.Gel Implant Sizing 
system – During the preliminary breast implant consultation, you will be
 provided with an option to “try on” a variety of implant shapes and 
sizes. You can also visualize the possible outcomes of your surgery 
which helps you to get that perfect size to give you the shape that you 
longed for. This way your preferences are known and you can then pick a 
range of implants that will “fit” just right to give a soft natural

Thank you for your question. It is much better to accurately discuss implant volume and projection with an in office exam and detailed measurements. In order to make an accurate size recommendation, I would need to assess your chest wall and breast mound measurements/characteristics. I use these measurements to help me during the sizing process to guide you to a safe result for your chest wall and just as important, one that meets your end desires.The next step is to try on this range of implants in the office with your doctor. The key to this success is showing your surgeon the body proportion you desire with a bra sizer and allowing your surgeon to guide you to the right implant. It will be much easier to communicate in implant cc's than cup size when determining the appropriate implant for you during the sizing process. In addition, review of photos and use of rice bags can be very helpful to the patient and surgeon in achieving a safe and happy result. Close intereaction and involvement from your surgeon during this process can help alleviate the anxiety and fears of choosing the right size. I wish you a safe recovery and fantastic result.Dr. Gill

Thank you for the question and pictures.  Based on your photographs, I think that you are starting at a good place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. There is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size/profile breast implant utilized and cup size achieved. Online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice to be truly helpful. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical.  
Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering  breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:
1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully.  Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.
2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals  with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining  breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. 
In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as  “natural” or "full C or small D cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.
 Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup  size may also be inaccurate.  Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice.
3.  Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly,  allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals.  Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery,  after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.

If only it were so easy, but unfortunately the cc's do not equate with cup size and any given implant can look totally different on two different patients. But for your height and weight I think 450cc would look pretty big. I'd probably be looking in the 350-400cc area. It really takes an exam to be sure.
