What is this indent called under my eyes, on the sides of my upper nose? Can this be fixed with fat transfer or filler? (photo)

When I smile, I get there indents under my eyes, on the sides of my upper nose. Are these tear troughs? Can this be fixed with fat transfer or filler? I just did Botox under my eyes hoping it would help relax the muscles there but it actually made these indents more prominent.

Hi @MamaJay. Thank you for sharing your photo. You would be a great candidate for tear trough 
fillers. Restylane and Belotero work great.  I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications.

Fillers like Belotero, Volbella, and Restylane Silk are good for improving under the eyes, but keep in mind that a combination approach will give the most improvement. The area that you are concerned about is called the tear trough.  This can easily be corrected using a dermal filler.  Make sure that you consult with an experienced injector as this is an advanced area to inject.
