Long story short wanted a hump reduction, had even nostrils this surgery resulted in uneven nostrils that I didn’t have prior, 3 surgeries with a doctor who botched my nose i then traveled out of state for a revision and everything came out great however I still have uneven nostrils, am I a candidate for alarplasty would this be any help to my nostrils I’d look to have them to be even as they were before any cosmetic surgery? Any tips would be appreciated

Hi, thank you for your question. Alar plasty : In experienced surgeons, it has quite rare risk for scarring. Alar crease should not be the destination for incision. I need to see the images as well. Best. Dr. Cem Altindag
In person consultation for alarplasty: an in person consultation is always best to make a final evaluation. A preliminary virtual consultation is doable but before operating I think most any surgeon would want to have an in person consultation first.
Will the results of an alarplasty change years down the road? Perhaps when you are 70 or 80 you will notice a change as the skin ages and the tip may droop a bit. But for the vast majority of your life there should be no discernible change.
