Yoga headstand and back ends - how long must I wait?

Question

Just had Botox done to my forehead and crow's feet + some hyaluronc acid around my lips. How long must I wait to do inversions and back bend in my yoga practice? Thank you.

Thank you for the question. Usually 24 hours is enough to wait following Botox or filler injections. If you want to be extra cautious, wait 2 days before resuming strenuous activity. Good luck.

Thanks for your question!  For best results, I would recommend that you wait 24-48 hours before resuming exercise.  At that point, you should be okay to continue.  Good luck!

Thank you for your question.For best results, it is recommended that you wait 48 hours before performing and exercise or strenuous activities. To be sure, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment.I hope this helps.

Hello I recommend that you avoid arduous activity for at least 24 hours after your treatments; so that the Botox that was injected can stay in the location that it was injected in. Best regards

Hi Chamonix2015,I usually recommend to my patients not to do strenuous exercise activity for 24 hours after Botox injections. I think that is safe to return to exercise the next day if you do not think that there is a problem with the injections.Hope this helps,Dr. Gus Diaz
