How can I remove the needle mark on my lips from lip fillers?

Its been 2 years now since I got fillers and I have two red marks on my bottom lip thats VERY visible in some lights. I didnt see this concern anywhere online which I found weird. I think its your responsibility as doctors to inform women that this might happen. Now I cant ever go out without lipstick and people always ask me if I have fillers. Is there a way to get this cured?

You may have small dilated blood vessels causing red spots on your lips (telangectasia). Depending on your exam, these may be "cured" utilizing light electrosurgery from a Hyfrecator. This may be performed in a dermatologist's office with topical anesthetic and no downtime. We have not seen any patients develop res spots as a result of lip injections. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

It is very unusual to have a needle mark on your lip from injections. If this is definitely the cause then if it probably a small cluster of blood vessels and therefore amenable to treatment with an appropriate laser (following specialist consultation).
