DayQuil 7 days before BBL. Should I be OK for my surgery?

Hello I got a cough and headache 7 days before my surgery. No fever. I took some DayQuil to feel better. I read the ingredients but it was not on the lists of what meds not to take . Should I be ok for my surgery ? I’m starting to feel better

Hello, thank you for your question. Missing teeth are not a contraindication for surgery, as long there is no infection, you should be fine with your procedure.

Thanks much for reaching out. Be sure to wear your compression garment at all times and follow up closely with your surgeon. There’s nothing you can do after the operation increase the amount of fat that was taken out but the swelling will improve with time.Hope this helps :-)

I was told by my doctor I could fly 24 hours after a BBL, is that safe?

Why not follow your PS's post operative guidelines?  He/she is the one performing your surgery and will know if you can fly within 24 hours of your fat transfer from the abdomen to the buttocks under local anesthesia.There are no hard and fast rules on when to fly after this procedure.  Most w...

Thank you for your question. Your sugar level is a little high but it's still within the normal range. If you have no history of Diabetes and your A1C level is below 6.4%, it shouldn't be a disqualifying factor for surgery. Your Doctor might ask you to see an endocrinologist.

Thank you for your question! I recommend staying off of the areas that fat was transferred to as much as possible. If your surgeon transferred fat to your hips and buttocks, it is best to lay on your stomach to avoid compressing the areas, for the first 10 days post surgery. Then I...
