Answer: Rhinoplasty for a crooked nose A full set of pictures and an in-person examination is required to determine the exact nature of what is causing the nose to be crooked. When the nasal bones are crooked, osteotomies are performed. When there is a crooked midportion of the nose, a spreader graft composed of the patient's own cartilage is inserted underneath the concave upper lateral cartilage. When the nasal tip is twisted, a tip rhinoplasty performed. If the caudal septum is crooked a columella-plasty is performed. Answer: Rhinoplasty candidate, some advices: Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us.The harmony between facial parts makes us instinctively recognize the beauty... without knowing it, without defining it, just a perception that surprises and captivates us.In this regard, I suggest perform a Closed Rhinoplasty (without visible scars) to treat the tip, base and nasal bridge. With this procedure you get a delicate nose, better harmonize with your other facial features.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Nasal tip deviation Deviation of the nasal tip is often caused either by a deviation of the most forward projection of the cartilaginous septum (caudal septum) or by a deviation of the lower portion of the lower lateral cartilages (columella). If the deviation is enough of a concern, either or both of these can be adjusted for a straighter nasal tip. From the photo that you posted, it is impossible to tell how much improvement to expect. Fillers will not likely solve a twisted or deviated nasal tip. John Standefer MD
