Sharp pain inside and around the tip (close to nostrils) after blowing nose. 11 months post op- septorhinoplasty

Question

I am 11 months post op. I had an open septorhinoplasty. After blowing my nose hard, I had a sharp pain on the inside of my nose and close to my nostrils. It hurts when I touch the sides of my nose. Is this normal 11months post op? The appearance of my nose looks the same as before

This is absoultely not normal and I would advise seeing your rhinoplasty surgeon - possibly you may have an exposed permanent suture inside the nostrils

Pain so long after surgery is not typical. The surgeon who performed the procedure knows best what was done and is in the best position to evaluate you now.
