Male hates his new nose, can it be fixed? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

The only option you have to improve your nose is to undergo secondary rhinoplasty. The main problem with these cases is the psychological trauma you have, that needs to be treated as well. After careful phsyical examination we can determine the problems and how to fix them. 3D simulation of posible outcomes can be beneficial to be sure of your expectations before surgery

Is it possible to deproject a nose without any placement of grafts?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Of course, your nasal tip can be deprojected without any graft. Most nasal tip grafts are performed to increase nasal projection. In an overprotected nose, one or either way the length of the lower lateral cartilages must be shortened, and for that purpose no grafting is regularly needed. Look for a well trained surgeon that can fix your problem in the best way, because grafting or not is not the most important thing.

Is it normal to have breathing problems three months post-op?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

After 3 months you should be breathing fine, but take in consideration that the inner nose can take up to 1 year to fully recover from surgery. If everything was done properly and your surgeon cared about the nasal function you should recover sooner or latter.

Open rhinoplasty and cocaine? Worried.

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

If you really are only taking cocaine 3 times/year you should be fine to undertake the operation. Huge problems are seeing when people use this drug commonly, because the blood supply to the nose is greatly damaged. Tell your doctor about it and see what he/she thinks.

Restylane disaster under eyes. Could fat transfer be a better option?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Fat transfer under the eyes achieves a very natural result and I recommend it all the time for that arra. It's a little more invasive than restylane as it implies a small procedure and mild inflammation for several days. You can aleays try again with fillers, being volbella and redensityII the best products to avoid complications.

Would I be a good candidate for a tip Rhinoplasty? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Sure you are a good candidate for tip surgery. Your tip is broad and undefined, and making it a little more triangular in shape will produce a better look. I'm not aware of the prices in California, sorry. To choose a surgeon I would recommend is a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, that listens carefully to your demands and takes time to explain you the details.

I have so many folds above and below my eyes, I'm only 19, what can be done to help this? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I will recommend that you have fat transfer to your upper eyelids and CO2 resurfacing to the skin of both upper and lower. That will enhance your beauty without a very invasive operation since you are very young

I had botox inject in my 11s yesterday and today I am already unable to move the muscles. Was I injected with too much???

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Not at all. We normally expect to have muscle relaxation in the first week, but is common to feel the effect at postreatment day-1.

Is alar base reduction possible without a full rhinoplasty?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Sure you can have alar base surgery alone, but probably the result will be less than ideal. The different parts of the nose need to be balanced to achieve aesthetic results, so a full rhinoplasty is most of the times the right thing to do.

Is it normal for the nasal radix to remain swollen? Looks as if there is no separation from forehead and nose.

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

When we need to take care of the radix it normally takes time to recover. That area is filled with muscle and soft tissue, and that takes a long time to heal.
