Thanks for your question! I think that lift might be overkill for you. If 6 months or a year down the road you are displeased with the right nipple being slightly lower, then perhaps you could consider a crescent lift then. Good luck!

You do not need a breast lift. Your breasts will fill out nicely, and will appear to sit a bit higher, once they are filled out with implants. Why add the scars, complexity, and expense of a breast lift? I would also discourage you from adding the crescent lift. This would add a very visible scar when your asymmetry is very subtle. Keep things simple. All the best.

Based on your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for breast augmentation. Adding breast implants will add upper pole breast volume that you desire. Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions.
You may need donut or crescentic breast lift which will put your nipples into the correct position, giving you a more youthful and lifted breast appearance. Some people are a little apprehensive about the scars but typically they do very well and scars fade over time.
I would encourage you to seek a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations.

After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, if interested. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. Hi, I think either answer is acceptable as you are close to the "dividing line" between needing a lift or not. What you didn't mention is what size implant you have chosen as this will provide some rotation to the nipple, larger implants "lifting" more than smaller. Since only a limited lift would be needed (at most) you can wait for the results of the surgery to be close to permanent and if needed, a small lift can be performed in most offices. Good luck.

Hi friendlyboo, I don’t think a lollipop lift is necessary and recommend you use a high or extra high projection implant to take up the little lower pole “sagging”. Without measurements, it doesn’t look like you even need a crescent lift-this is easily done under local anesthetic (Novocaine injections) so if you have the implants and the levels can’t be adjusted with varying dual plane dissection, it is easy to proceed with the crescent at a later time. determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

You’re really in that gray zone as far as needing a lift. It friends on what’s important to you. With the lollipop lift you will get scars but your nipple will be in a higher location. It depends on which is more important to you. Avoid scars or have the nipples in the right place.,

Thank you for your question and photos. An examination in person would be required to properly evaluate you, but from your photos alone it appears that you would be an excellent candidate for a subfascial or subpectoral dual plane augmentation without the need for a mastopexy (breast lift).

I am not a fan of periareolar lifts. Often bad scars or areola enlargement which is very hard to fix and I do not like use of a permanent suture to hold the areola together. An augmentation alone with support and preservation of your breast fold is what I would consider. Not sure of your body and breast dimensions which would help in size recommendations. Good luck!
