Why are my lipo marks bright red and worse than they were when I had the procedure 6 months ago?

had PAL lipo on my thighs 6 months ago. I was told the marks from the incisions would go away. I have 10 very bright red noticeable marks on my legs. I thought they would be gone by now but they are worse than what they were 6 months ago. I don’t know if it’s from the scar cream but I also have a 1 inch circle around each incision mark that turned lighter than the rest of my skin. rSummer is coming and I don’t know what to do. Please let me know if this discoloration or marks are permanent

Swelling post-lipo can persist for months, so it's important to be on the right after care protocols. In addition to compression, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and radiofrequency treatments, lymphatic massage is highly effective in the prevention of fluid buildup, scar tissue, inflammation, and infections. Lymphatic massage also decreases the chance of irregularities, lumps or bumps; accelerates healing and minimizes downtime; and, following a liposculpture procedure, can help further contour the abdominals.

I recommend that my liposculpture patients receive lymphatic massage treatments every day for a week following their procedure; twice per week for the following month; and then once per week until healing is complete.
