Why are my lipo marks bright red and worse than they were when I had the procedure 6 months ago?

Swelling post-lipo can persist for months, so it's important to be on the right after care protocols. Scar cream will help. You may also want to try laser or IPl for the scarring depending on what color the scars are will determine what device to use .

It's difficult to comment on what is occurring without photos or an examination. It may be a reaction to the scar cream you are using or some other type of allergic reaction. I encourage you to visit with your surgeon for an evaluation.
