1 month post op of 550cc BA, still hard, right breast developed new bruising since massaging started. Any suggestion? (photo)

I had 550cc HP Mentor gel, subfascial placement, 30 days ago. Last Friday I started massaging, by Sunday, I had bruises and was sore on my right side, so I was told to stop for a few weeks. Is this okay this far after surgery, to be sore from general massaging? I trust my ps, and he didn't seem alarmed at all. I just would like a little input on the general healing process, and what I should expect my breasts to feel like (softness, pain wise, etc.). Am I freaking out for no reason? Thank you!!

Thank you for you question and pictures. It can take up to 3mo for implants to settle into their final position. You are doing everything right i.e. massage and banding.

Agree with Dr. Lepore...air can get trapped around the implant during surgery but this will resolve with time.
