My left breast been very misshaped right after surgery my ps says needs time to drop and heal but I'm losing hope and believe it's not going to change. Currently on singular 10mg and wearing a breast band plus massaging. Need advice thank you
Answer: Asymmetry Post Augmentation Thank you for you question and pictures. It can take up to 3mo for implants to settle into their final position. You are doing everything right i.e. massage and banding.

Answer: Any suggestion? Dear express41You best option is to be patient and wait. Follow your surgeons instructions. It can take up to 3 months for implants to drop at times. In my practice, I suggest regular massage of the implant multiple time daily in the early postoperative period. A comression band across the top of chest might help facilitate lowering the implant as well.

Answer: Breast concerns 3 weeks post-op Was your procedure a secondary procedure where you were treating contractures? Is not, I'm not sure I would be using Singular at this juncture. However, banding is very important and you should be doing that as instructed. Your other side looks good already so you should not be banding that side at the same time. Ask you doctor for hints on how to focus your efforts on the one side only. Assuming the pocket dissection was done the same, you should see some signs of improving symmetry as time passes. Bottom line, your surgeon should be as motivated as you are for an excellent outcome so trust your surgeon to do the best possible for you. And you should also know what the revision policy is in case it is needed down the road.

Answer: I'm 3 weeks post op breast augmentation. 500 ml left 480 ml right saline mentor under the muscle. Any suggestion You have early post op asymmetry which makes it difficult to judge what would be the outcome. The best thing to do is to continue massaging often and follow up with your PS.

Answer: Breast asymmetry The right breast looks good and appears to be healing well. The left implant appears very high on the chest with the obvious asymmetry. It does take time for the implants to settle and for swelling to dissipate. However, now that you are 3 weeks out, I don't think that the left implant will settle enough to get the desired symmetry. It is possible it is due to capsular contracture. It is probable you will need another procedure to re-position the left implant. It is best to wait until 3-4 months before attempting additional surgery. This will allow some swelling to dissipate and softening of the tissue. Please discuss with your surgeon.
