Hi, I had my consultation with my plastic surgeon. I am confident in him (I am someone who does my research) I'm a size 38G. He said that he would take 900g off 1 breast and 800g off of another, resulting full B cup. I know it's not guaranteed but I'm praying I regain nipple sensation and I thought the smaller you make the breast (the more drastic change from larger to smallest) the harder that becomes. I have have very large breast my whole life and I am also worried that a B cup is a bit too small
Answer: The Bellesoma Breast Reduction Going from a G to a B would require a 5 cup size reduction. At size 38, each 200 grams removed corresponds to 1 cup size change. You would require 1,000 grams removed from each breast and this is excessive. Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. Rather than fixating on cup size, you should have results that are proportionate to your body. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast Reduction surgery Dear Tiffanyann3, Thank you for your question. Measurements of cup sizes are variable, and while on one store a woman may measure a B cup, she might measure a D cup in a different store. Therefore it is difficult to guarantee you a certain cup-size with breast reduction surgery, especially if you are having such a large amount of breast tissue removed from each breast. If you are going through insurance, there is also usually a certain amount of breast tissue your surgeon has to remove, based on your height and weight, for your insurance to cover the case. I recommend you speak again with your board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns. Sometimes it is helpful to show him or her a picture of how you would like to look after surgery. Best wishes and good luck with surgery. I hope you have a speedy recovery!Kind regards, Franziska Huettner

Answer: Size The implant selection should be based on a combination of your desired size, soft tissue dynamics, breast base diameter and skin elasticity. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach TrainedDouble Board-Certified, Double Fellowship-Trained Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Breast Reduction I never promise a patient a cup size, and often times what I perceive to be a certain cup size is different than what the patient has in mind. I find it more realistic to show a patient photos of results that I think are attainable, good luck, Jane.
